NVDGA
will be hosting it's annual ADGA-sanctioned show on May
17-18, 2008 at the Tehama County Fairgrounds, 650 Antelope
Blvd, in Red Bluff, CA.
The big
change this year is that we are going from one day and two rings to
two days and four rings! In these days of high gas prices
and faltering shows, this is an efficient way to show your
goats.
Update, 5/13/08: Meals!
There
will be a complimentary lasagna dinner on Friday evening. On
Saturday evening the Shasta County 4-H Meat Goat Project
members will be serving a dinner which is payable by
donation.
Judges & Sanctions
Saturday
Seniors and Juniors: Sam Whiteside,
Kristi
Bozzo-Baldenegro
Saturday
Juniors, Sunday Seniors: Chuck Pedersen, Robert Bourassa
This
will be eight sanctions: Separate Sr. and Jr. sanctions for
each ring.
Format
Two
senior shows will be judged each day: Saturday and Sunday.
All four
junior shows will be judged on Saturday afternoon in a
"4-ring circus" format. Instead of goats moving between
rings, the goats for each breed will stay in their
respective rings and the judges and secretaries will move
between rings. This will allow for an earlier departure on
Sunday for those who travel any distance.
Raffle
Our raffle is
legendary! We accept donations . We have a nice milkstand
and scores of excellent items that will be available to be
raffled off, including useful dairy goat supplies, things
for children, and fun things as well.
